Bob Dylan Opening Whiskey Distillery in Nashville

Bob Dylan plans to open a whiskey distillery in a 140-year-old church south of Broadway on Elm Street in 2019. He is partnering with Angel's Envy Bourbon co-founder Marc Bushala to create a line of American whiskeys with the name Heaven's Door.

Dylan said the following about the new venture:

“I’ve been traveling for decades, and I’ve been able to try some of the best spirits that the world of whiskey has to offer. This is great whiskey. I am happy to be partnering with Marc and our entire team as we bring Heaven’s Door to the public.”

Tennessee has seen an increase in distilleries after the laws were relaxed in 2009, with over 30 distilleries in the state!
