The American rental company, Airbnb is setting rules to ensure its customers are safe during the pandemic. Airbnb is cracking down on people renting homes with the intent of throwing a party. "The new rules will cap occupancies at any Airbnb worldwide to 16 people. "This party ban applies to all future bookings on Airbnb and it will remain in effect indefinitely until further notice, the company stated."
As of lately many rental hosts have come under fire with stories about large gatherings being held at their homes in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Strangers gathering in a house without masks and not socially distanced is a breeding ground for spreading COVID-19.
