The people at WalletHub.com have done some pretty disappointing research. Tennessee is NOT a very good place for singles (so they say). They looked at factors that make for "dating friendliness". Some of those things were: most restaurants, nightlife options per person, online dating opportunities, etc.
Here's the best states to be single:
5. South Dakota
9. District of Columbia
Really? Montana? We're not as "single friendly as Montana?! Seriously? Apparently we're in the bottom ten.
4. West Virginia
7. New Mexico
8. South Carolina
To put it another way, we're the 43rd best state for being single. Is this true?
Whatevs. If you're single and that's the way you like it, good for you. If you're single and want to find someone, see ya at the U-Haul place and meet you in Montana.
