In her interview with Vogue magazine, Rihanna talked about the VMAs in 2016, when Drake presented her with the Vanguard Award and basically declared his love for her (and by basically I mean he 100% did).
She said it made her "uncomfortable" and that she doesn't like being showered in compliments. When the interviewer asked about the current state of her relationship with Drake she said the following:
“We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.”
