Nashville's Vice Mayor Calls for New Police Leadership

Nashville's vice mayor, Sheri Weiner, penned a note today following the officer-involved, fatal shooting of Daniel Hambrick. She said that while he has dedicated years to the Nashville police force, many people had concerns regarding Chief Anderson's ability to continue to lead the police department with clear leadership.

Daniel Hambrick was 25 years old - he was shot multiple times in the back as he was running from a police officer two weeks ago in North Nashville.
