Grammy Winning Singer Gretchen Wilson Arrested

Country singer Gretchen Wilson (Redneck Woman, Here For The Party) has been arrested in Connecticut. The Grammy winner was arrested by the Connecticut State Police at Bradley International Airport.

She was reportedly belligerent with law enforcement when she was arrested. She was being interviewed by police about a disturbance on a flight. She was charged with "breach of peace" and was released on $1,000 bail.

Gretchen Wilson made her mark in 2004 when her brand of bad-girl, roughneck country blasted her onto the music scene. The Grammy Award-winning single "Redneck Woman" was a number-one hit on the Billboard country charts.
