Inside Look: Nashville Hosts World Pokemon Tourney

1,500 Competitors from all over the world came to Nashville this weekend competing for over $500,000 and to be crowned the #1 trainer. The Music City Center was filled with competitors from all age groups, kids to adults.

The convention embraced the Nashville theme and made the entire stage a mock-up of Broadway with Pokemon themed taverns and recording studios. The tourney was broadcast and streamed live all over the world.

We sent Jim from Woody and Jim Show to meet the trainers and get an inside look.

A fist raised in triumph.

Jim had these competitors do their best 'Poke" face.

And look at this adorable Nashville themed Pikachu made special for this tournament. It was only $20 in the Pokemon Center. You bet Jim bought one.
