The annual Marathon du Medoc is a marathon race in Bordaeux, France with a twist. Every participant HAS to wear a uniform and they get to try out 23 different wines along the way AND get at least one steak break.
Seems pretty dangerous which is why you have to submit a medical certification that you are in good health before you can participate. They encourage everyone to go slow (the race takes about 6.5 hours) so that they lessen the amount of people projectile vomiting on the course (as you can expect, that happens a lot).
Don't like steak? They also have cheese, oyster and ice cream samples!!
