Ariana Grande Poses In Custom Grammys Gown Despite Skipping The Awards Show

Ariana Grande won her first Grammy, for best pop vocal album for “Sweetener," on Sunday (Feb. 10). Unfortunately, the 25-year-old pop star was a no-show after a public spat with the awards show's producers. Despite the creative differences, Ari was still hype to win her first Grammy, calling the win "wild and beautiful." She kept the celebration going on Instagram following her win by showing fans the dress she would've worn to the awards show.

In a series of three posts, Ariana posed in a gorgeous, Cinderella-esque gown that was custom designed just for her by Zac Posen. "When [Zac Posen] makes u a custom gown it doesn’t matter if you’re singing or not .... thank u," she captioned the first photo.

Instead of walking the red carpet in her glamorous gown, Ari watched the Grammys like the rest of us: in her sweats on the couch. Her manager, Scooter Braun, shared a video on Twitter of the "thank u, next" singer watching the show with him and some friends. "Watching the Grammys with Allison and Grammy-Award-winning artist Ariana Grande, Scooter says in the video before panning over to bashful Ari.

Congratulations on your Grammy win, Ariana! Maybe you can rock that fabulous gown next year.
