Positive Pants: Nashville Dad Starts Non-Profit To Fund Mission Trips!

We do a segment called 'Positive Pants' every morning at 6:50 & 9:20 in an effort to combat all the of the news in the world that honestly, just sucks...

This one in particular hit us right in the feels and it's SUPER local!

This Nashville area dad, David Glenn, started a non-profit company called 'Heart of A Dad' in an effort to help fund kids going on missions trips to other parts of the world!

How it all started: One of Davids' sons was going on a mission trip to South Africa // BUT found out that some of his friends couldn't afford to go -- so he came to David and said, "Dad, what can we do to help pay for these kids to go with me?!"

David owns a moving company called 'Glenn Enterprises' so David came up with this BRILLIANT idea...

Whenever people would leave furniture behind or donate it to his moving company, because they didn't want to take it with them, David began selling the furniture and using those funds from the donated furniture to fund children going on mission trips!

The non-profit organization 'Heart Of A Dad' is such an amazing cause! Starting with something so small in Nashville to make a difference around the world!
