Actor John Saxon Dies in Murfreesboro


Hollywood actor and one-time heartthrob John Saxon, died in Murfreesboro according to the Hollywood Reporter. He passed at age 83 at his own home middle Tennessee. He died of pneumonia according to his wife.

One of his most famous roles was opposite Bruce Lee in 'Enter The Dragon'.

According to IMDB, Saxon appeared in nearly 200 roles in the movies and on television in a career that stretched over seven decades since he made his big screen debut in 1954 in uncredited roles in "It Should Happen to You" and George Cukor's "A Star Is Born."

Horror fans also have a special place in their hearts from his appearances in the Nightmare On Elm Street series.
