Remember when we heard the stat "100 people moved to Nashville everyday"? That was pretty much the deal for Music City from 2010 to 2020. We all joked about putting a sign that said, "We're full".

Not anymore.

The US Census tells us people are leaving. They aren't leaving the area, they are moving farther out from Davidson County.

No specific reason was given. But could it have to do with Nashville being completely unaffordable?! Most think so. Nashville Organized for Action and Hope told FOX 17:

“Wages need to go up for our workers, but you have to have housing stock and enough of it that's at affordable rents and prices for the wages of what people are making in the city,” NOAH Affordable Housing Committee Co-Chair Kay Bowers said.

Look at these stats.
