Growing up, one of my favorite movies of all time was The Sandlot. I would watch that movie just about every day! I even had my mom go out and buy me some all black PF Flyers just like in the movie. There have been a few sequels to the movie and I hate to say I sat through them and wasn't impressed at all!!
Now, I've been seeing some reports online that they now want to create a prequel?! How can you create a prequel to this movie when all of the kids are young in the movie. So I did some digging on this story. There are not very many details on the plot to the movie.
I did see somewhere that the plot of the movie involves the legend of the beast.
I really don't think they should attempt this at all, but Hollywood can't really think of anything original. I just hope they don't ruin my childhood along with yours as well!
