Former Tennessee Titan Announces Retirement

When you think about Tennessee Titans running backs there are a lot. You probably think of Eddie George and Chris Johnson. Today, Chris Johnson announced that he is retiring from the NFL. Johnson begin his career right here in Tennessee back in 2008. The first 3 years on the team he was a pro-bowler and in his second year, he set the season record by rushing for 2,006 yards. Only seven players have ever rushed for that many yards in a season. 

Johnson went on to play for several different teams after the Titans including the New York Jets and the Arizona Cardinals. In a statement today by his management team he announced his retirement. 

Johnson also wrote a personal message on his Instagram for the fans!
