The Nightmare Before Christmas is hands down in my book a timeless classic. The movie has grown popular over time and all year round you'll see stuff from the movie. The popularity of the movie has Disney considering a sequel or even a live-action of the movie.
Moviehole said there are talks going on at at Disney to “do something with Nightmare Before Christmas probably a sequel but live-action possible”. Disney has started to bring back some of their classics and turn them into live-action. It started off with the Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast. Now on the way we're getting the Lion King, Dumbo, Aladdin and now we could be seeing Nightmare Before Christmas live-action remake.
