Caleb Kenndy, a contestant on this season of American Idol, will no longer be part of the show.
This comes after a video surfaced showing him sitting next to someone wearing a Klan-like hood.
He released a statement that said, "Hey y'all, this is gonna be a bit of a surprise. There was a video that surfaced on the internet, and it displayed actions that were not meant to be taken in that way."
He adds that he was younger and didn't think about his actions.
He lastly said in the video, "I'm so sorry! I pray that I can one day regain your trust in who I am and have your respect."
