Ikuko Tokuoka scammed people into buying a PS5 but instead gave the customers 2 bottles of water.
The unemployed 41-year-old pulled off this scam in Japan and has been arrested for fraud. A woman apparently purchased a PS5 as cash on delivery for $596, but when she opened the box she only found 2 bottles of water.
The woman tried to get ahold of Ikuko, but she was unable to reach her so she decided to call the police.
Ikuko said, “I shipped the packaged, but I don’t remember what was in it." Of course, she is denying any wrongdoing.
