Tiffany Stratton Hopes WrestleMania 42 Was the Last One She Misses

Tiffany Stratton is determined to make sure she never misses another WrestleMania.

Stratton did not compete at WrestleMania 42, but she quickly bounced back by capturing the Women’s United States Championship on the following episode of Friday Night SmackDown. During an appearance on the Battleground Podcast, Stratton opened up about being left off WWE’s biggest event of the year. She explained that her focus remains on the things she can control, including making the most of every segment and delivering whenever she steps into the ring.

“I am always somebody that tries to control everything that is fully in my control. For instance, any segment I have on the show, I always try to make sure I do it to the best of my ability. I’m not half-assing anything. Every time I go and I have a match, I make sure I overdeliver so, I’ve just been controlling what I can control and if that keeps me off the WrestleMania card, then, you know, my best wasn’t good enough (and) back to the drawing board so, hopefully I never get left off of another WrestleMania again. But, I’m excited to be on SummerSlam… That is also a really amazing opportunity…”

While WrestleMania 42 did not go the way she hoped, Stratton now has another major opportunity in front of her. She will compete in the SummerSlam Ladder Match to determine the Interim WWE Women’s Champion. This year’s SummerSlam will carry additional meaning for Stratton, as the event takes place in her home state of Minnesota.
