John Jacoway, CEO of Southeast Financial Credit Union

John Jacoway is the CEO of Southeast Financial Credit Union, headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee. Southeast Financial is a full-service banking institution with 11 branches in Tennessee, along with branches in Bowling Green, Kentucky and Corinth, Mississippi.

A Middle Tennessee native, John received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Austin Peay State University and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management. He has served the Nashville area in the financial services arena for 32 years, both as a CPA in public accounting and privately in the governmental and banking industries. He joined Southeast Financial in March of 1997 and served as both CFO and co-President before moving into his current role.

John serves on the Board of Directors for Hope Clinic for Women, University of Alabama College of Continuing Studies, and others.He is currently the Board Chair for Volunteer Corporate Credit Union. He is also a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Public Accountants, and the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Baseball has always been one of John’s true passions. He has coached for many years and is currently President of the Sycamore War Eagles Baseball Association. John resides in Pleasant View, Tennessee and is the proud father of two boys, both college graduates.
