Uh oh - looks like there's some trouble in the water! Remember Carrie's 2018 song called "Game On" that was the theme for Sunday Night Football?
According to TMZ, another writer, Heidi Merrill, claims she wrote the song and uploaded it to YouTube in 2016. She then met Carrie's producer, Mark Bright in Nashville in 2017 and asked if Carrie would want to work on a song with her for the NFL.
Carrie ended up passing on the offer but then submitted a song called "Game On," that ended up being used.
Now, Merrill is suing Carrie, Mark Bright, NBC AND the NFL for copyright infringement.
