If you walk into Wal-Mart this week, you might notice something a little different...and it's not the unbeatable low prices.
No, in fact, many Wal-Mart employees are being forced to wear capes.
I wanna know what person in corporate at Walmart came up with the idea for CSMs to wear fricking capes at work 🙄 pic.twitter.com/EsfFxdJHHf— lauren maddox (@LMaddox24) July 7, 2017
Honestly, they look a little more like the dollar ponchos that you buy at the zoo on a rainy day, but either way they're here to stay.
The "capes" are part of the retail giant's back-to-school campaign "Own the School Year Like a Hero", and customer response has been nothing short of magnificent.
Whats with all these Wal-Mart capes? Swear they do everything else but open up more registers— gif faggie (@Keefosabe) July 20, 2017
Was at Wal-Mart and a bunch of employees wearing capes were standing around a woman passed out on the floor. #WorstSuperheroesEver— TeeMick (@TMick13) July 21, 2017

Not all heroes wear capes, but the managers at Wal-Mart do.
