First we had to tell kids not to eat Tide Pods. Then we had to remind them that touching a hot burner on a stove is a bad idea.
It's sad that in 2018 we still have to explain things that should be common sense. Like, for example, DON'T PUT TIN FOIL IN A MICROWAVE.
It all started with a viral tweet that we HOPE was a joke.
Yall know this happened if you microwave foil for 3 minutes? pic.twitter.com/k4y51FyUN3— Wilson♿️ (@Badoodled) April 2, 2018
While most of the internet was quick to understand the sarcasm, there's idiots everywhere that decided that they would try it, because it looks cool, right?
is that normal, should i wait more? pic.twitter.com/sWwMRVkQvy— Bi Sey Bulsaniye (@zennurisback) April 2, 2018
In case you're wondering. Tin/aluminum foil is a metal. And when you put metal in a microwave...
IT SETS ON FIRE.
That said, you CAN make tin foil into a smooth ball that looks really cool...just not by sticking it in a freakin' microwave.
And although I'm not sure what's being said in this video, it's strangely fascinating to watch
But. I repeat. DO NOT PUT TIN FOIL IN A MICROWAVE.
