Remember when Rihanna and Drake were besties and then they were a thing and Drake professed his love for her on the VMAs?
Those were the good old days, because evidently that was the beginning of the end of not only Rihanna and Drake's relationship, but their whole friendship.

Rihanna's in the current edition of Vogue magazine, and she opened up about that VMA moment and her current relationship with Drake.
Rihanna winces slightly at the mention of the rapper’s name before her eyes glaze over with cool indifference.
“The VMAs is such a fan-focused awards show, so having that energy around me, and knowing the people who had received the award in the past, made it feel like a big deal,” she says. “Waiting through that speech was probably the most uncomfortable part. I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast.”
When I ask about the current state of their friendship, her attitude is sanguine. “We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.”

I'm sorry, WHAT!?!?!?!?
Wait a minute, didn't ya'll get like, matching tattoos and gush over each other on Instagram right after that happened?
REMEMBER CAMO SHARK!?!?!?
So it's not like that VMA moment was truly the beginning of the end...or maybe it was? Rihanna didn't really go into detail about how her friendship with Drake ended, but the fact that she specifically mentioned that moment leads you to believe that maybe Drake was into it more than she was.
Either way, they're apparently DONE, which makes me sort of sad because let's talk about all the great Drake/Rihanna collabs out there and we will NEVER get another one.
