MTV has halted production on their popular show Catfish after a woman who appeared on the show uploaded a YouTube video accusing one of the hosts of sexual harrassment.
Ayissha Morgan, who appeared on Season 4 of the show, claims that "Jack", who she calls "The Main Guy" (who we assume to be host Nev Schulman) consistently made crude remarks to her throughout the filming process.
"With so many girls still doing the show, I would feel like a jackass if I hadn't said anything,"
Morgan, who claims she doesn't want any money or fame, but only to protect other women who may be going on the show, outlines a series of provocative remarks made by "Jack", including asking her if she's ever had sex with a man, and if she would like to.
It's honestly pretty grotesque (and there's some language in the video, so don't watch around your kids)
MTV is conducting their own internal investigation.
Needless to say, Twitter is MESSED UP about this.
Okay... but... is Nev even capable of this? The dude can barely use harsh tones on catfish https://t.co/6KI2YiG1dF— Sara Anderson 🍕 (@saraanderson023) May 17, 2018

True or not, this is a bad look for the network and for the show. Whatever the result of the investigation, we hope it gets resolved quickly!
