Social media detectives everywhere were on the lookout for a Dolly Parton cutout that was stolen from Dino's in East Nashville last night.
On Sunday night, the restaurant posted a screenshot of surveillance video showing a group of patrons hijacking the life-size cutout of Dolly Parton, asking for social media to help them track down the thieves.
3 bimbos STOLE our DOLLY AGAIN on Sunday night! This time, there’s proof. We hope you have fun hanging that above your bed at your Mom’s house. 🖕 @ Dino's https://t.co/GOtU6WJgyc— Dino's Restaurant (@DinosNashville) June 27, 2018
While the picture has since been deleted, social media went to work. Last night, the cutout turned up on social media...by one of the thieves themselves.
It's since been returned to the restaurant, and all is well in the world. Welcome back, Dolly. Welcome back.
💥UPDATE!!!💥 Dolly has been returned. Sadly, the #flipflopbandits’ egos have not. Let this be a lesson for all you kiddos out there trying to steal precious mementoes from Dino’s. We’re watching you👀 And apparently, all of Nashville is too. Love to all of you out there who helped make today a memorable one. LONG LIVE DOLLY!!! Shout out to @samvargamusic & @vargaritavillle for giving up and giving back our Dolly✌️
