A brand new music festival is coming to Downtown Nashville this fall, and the lineup has been released! The Breakaway Music Festival, originally a Columbus, Ohio-based festival, is launching a new event in Nashville on October 5th and 6th in Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park.

The inaugural lineup is headlined by Wiz Khalifa, Ilenium, and Lil Pump, with other artists including Lil Skies, Quin XCII, Mike Floss, and more, with future acts still to be announced.

“Nashville has been waiting for an event just like Breakaway. This place is called the ‘Music City’ for areason. It’s not just old country; Nashville is a melting pot of young people and music that needs amillennial driven music festival which is exactly what Breakaway Nashville is,” PSG Nashville MarketManager, Blake Miller said.

Two-day passes for the festival are on sale here and start at $99. The event is all ages and rain or shine.

The Breakaway Music Festival has 5 locations throughout the U.S., with other festivals in Dallas, Charlotte, and Grand Rapids, along with the flagship festival in Columbus, which this year will be headlined by Halsey, Khalid, Odesza, and Migos.

This will be the first major music festival in Downtown Nashville since River Stages folded in the early 2000s.  Earlier this year, The Nashional Music Festival attempted multi-format 2-day event, but it was cancelled relatively quickly following the announcement.
