Need an excuse to travel to a foreign country? Perhaps a robot dinosaur hotel in Japan will give it to you. Henn'na in the Japanese town of Urayusu, Japan (near Nagasaki) boasts a staff that isn't human.
Like, literally.
The hotel is completely run by robots. Well, not completely, but 90% of the staff is not of human variety.
To the contrary, the hotel is run by robot dinosaurs.
The hotel, which is very close to Tokyo Disney, has a velociraptor at the front desk to greet you and check you in. Once in your room, all of your electronics - the AC, the TV, etc. - are controlled by a robot. A robotic dinosaur arm helps you store your luggage, and a robot concierge can be your virtual tour guide. Even the fish are robots!
Of course, there is a human element to answer questions and maintain the hotel.
Reviews have been a little mixed - the general population isn't quite ready to hand over hospitality to our robot overlords - but you gotta admit it wouldn't be the worst thing ever to be greeted by a robot raptor upon your arrival in Japan.
