It's no secret that Gatlinburg is one of the best "remote" tourism hot spots in America. it's perfect because there's plenty of stuff to do - Dollywood, The Island, Ober Gatlinburg, and a million shops - but also because it's easy to just rent a cabin and escape from everything for a few days.
And now, it's home to the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America
Look at that view!!
The SkyBridge, which is set to open as part of Gatlinburg SkyLift Park on May 17th, is 680 feet long, and at it's highest point sits about 140 feet off of the ground below.
And, honestly, I could stand in the middle and look at this scene for HOURS.
The SkyBridge isn't for you if you're scared of heights, though. On top of the sheer height of the bridge, there are points along the route where the bottom is glass...which means you can look STRAIGHT DOWN into the valley below.
If you're up for it though, the Instagram pics will be AMAZING!!!
SkyBridge opens up May 17th, and you can access it along with the famous SkyLift for the same price.
