The Nasvhille CVC reports that 53,127 hotel reservations have been cancelled in Nashville due to growing fears about the spread of coronavirus. The cancelled rooms are partially a result of 75 meetings and student group trips that have been cancelled, with one of those consisting of 2,800 attendees.
The cancellations represent a little over $25 million in direct spending within the city.
