Despite earlier reports that Will Smith and Chris Rock "made up" backstage at the Oscars following "The Slap," that may not actually be the case.
Smith slapped Rock on stage following an off-color GI Jane joke at the expense of Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, who has publicly discussed her struggles with alopecia and the hair loss associated with it.

Anyway, there were all these reports that the two men hashed out their differences backstage, but it turns out that might not be the case. A new report from TMZ says that Smith and Rock haven't spoken at all since the slap. A source close to the situation says that Chris Rock was stunned by the slap, went straight to his dressing room afterwards, and hasn't communicated with Will Smith at all.
Another source says that Chris had "no idea" that Jada had alopecia and that the joke, although it was directed at Jada's short hair, was not intended to be mean.
