It's sort of become a running joke that anywhere there's an abandoned store, it's likely going to become a Spirit Halloween store in September.
Well now, the joke can extend to Hollywood as well, because there's going to be a new family movie called...you guessed it...Spirit Halloween.
And, as much as you laugh, it features some pretty big names. Christopher Lloyd and Rachel Leigh Cook are both cast, and in fact it's already in post-production set likely for a Halloween 2022 release. The premise is that a Spirit Halloween store pops up in a deserted shopping center, but when three friends make a dare to spend the night locked in the store, things get spooky.
It's said that the store is haunted by an evil spirit who possesses the animatronics, and the kids have to figure out how to survive the night. So I'm imagining sort of a cross between House on Haunted Hill and Night at the Museum.
Would you watch a Spirit Halloween movie?
