Travel Insurance Is Required For Some Unvaccinated Passengers In Florida

Travel insurance is now required for unvaccinated Carnival and Royal Caribbean cruise passengers sailing from Florida. Colleen McDaniel, with Cruise Critic.Com, says the policies must cover unvaccinated guests over the age of 12 with at least 25-thousand-dollars per person in medical expense coverage and 50-thousand per person for quarantine and medical evacuation coverage. Passengers will also be required to pay for COVID testing. The cruises cannot ask passengers if they are vaccinated because Florida has a vaccine-passport ban, this applies to anyone not willing to share their shot status.
