Johnny Depp Says His Finger Was Cut Off During Fight With Amber Heard

In the latest chapter of the toxic dynamic between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, the Hollywood titan recalls how the tip of his finger was cut off during a fight with his former partner.

As per video from Depp's deposition, which was obtained by The Daily Mail, the actor, 56, recounted the one time that his finger was severed during a fight with Heard, 33, which occurred one month after they wed. "Basically I had a pretty nasty injury that I actually had to protect her at the time," he says of the March 2015 fight with his ex-wife. "And so I said that it was caught in the door in these huge accordion doors at this house, that wasn’t the case at all. She smashed, she threw a vodka bottle at me and my, my hand was resting on the marble of the bar like that."

"The first bottle went whoosh just past my ear,” he continues in the video. "And the second one was a larger bottle and she threw it from about this distance and it smashed into the bar, which, this finger who I now call little Richard, was, the tip of the finger was severed and all the bone in here was completely shattered."

Depp went on to admit that he received infections because of the gruesome injury. "I ended up with MRSA twice, so it was very complicated," he continues. "I was trying to just get the finger back, you know. And then deal with the insanity of having had my finger chopped off by this woman that I was married to."

This is the latest accusation in the pair's bitter divorce war with one another. Depp's deposition is from his lawsuit against his former lawyer, whom he says wrongly collected millions of dollars in lawyer fees. This violent incident came into play because that lawyer had prepared a post-nuptial agreement for the pair that Heard was allegedly asked to sign the night before the big fight.
