Anti-Racism Paint In Fishtown Is Here To Stay According to Philly Officials

According to Fox 29, the Black Lives Matter protest involving hundreds of people in Philadelphia that painted the bold yellow words "END RACISM NOW" on Girard street in Fishtown -- is here to stay.

City officials responded to the art display saying that they're hoping to find a more permanent location for the message outside of the 26th district Police Department, however; they fully intend to leave It there on the street until It naturally fades away.

Per the Philadelphia Fire Department's Twitter:

Based on the organizers’ request to the City, the Fire Department attempted to clean off the paint. Ultimately, fire hoses could not remove it, and the display is still visible. The City has no intentions of removing it at this time.
