Mountain Dew is getting into the booze business with their latest collab.
PepsiCo, who makes Mountain Dew, has teamed up with Boston Beer, who makes Truly Hard Seltzer, to make Hard Mtn Dew. It's a sugar-free canned beverage with 5% alcohol content by volume. There are three flavors to choose from: original Mountain Dew, watermelon, and black cherry. No word on if they will eventually make a Baja Blast or Code Red flavor down the line, but I got my fingers crossed!
Most people on Twitter are comparing it to Four Loko, the once caffeinated alcoholic canned beverage that cased hospitalizations. (Four Loko has removed caffeine from its recipe since then.)
The boozy beverage is set to hit shelves early in 2022, so you have to wait a bit before you can get your hands on them.
