'Nashville Nine' List Includes Buildings On Second Avenue

The annual list of the most endangered historic places in Nashville, titled the "Nashville Nine," has been released and it includes buildings on 2nd Avenue.

All locations are nominated by members of the community and must represent a historic place that's facing demolition.

The first four spots are taken by the buildings that were destroyed by the Christmas bombing last year.

The list is as follows:

-170, 172, 174, and 176 Second Avenue North

-Elk's Lodge #1102 at 2614 Jefferson Street

-Patton Brothers Funeral Home at 1306 South Street

-Southern Ground at 114 17th Avenue South

-Woolworth Building at 221 5th Avenue North

-Coca-Cola Bottling Plant at 1525 Church Street
