People love them some ranch dressing. Some people love it too much... so much that they may buy themselves a ranch dressing diamond ring.
An expert diamond maker is capitalizing on the love one might have for ranch. He took Hidden Valley Ranch Powder and made it into a diamond by using specialized equipment to heat the powder to 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit, followed by 400 tons of pressure in order to make a two-carat diamond. He then set it in a 14-karat gold band and is currently selling it on eBay. At the time of writing this, it's bid sits at $13,250.
The process took five months to complete and despite all that hard work, he doesn't want the money for it. All proceeds from the sale is going to Feeding America.
