Aged by Audio crackers are the brainchild of Cheez-Its and Pandora.
These specific cheese crackers have been aged for over six months to hip-hop music. A 2019 study from Bern University of the Arts in Switzerland suggested that aging cheese to hip-hop music can strengthen its taste and smell, so they enlisted Pandora to find songs similar to those used in the study so that they could replicate it as much as possible. They didn't say the specific songs just yet, but they said artists like A Tribe Called Quest, LL Cool J, The Roots, Beastie Boys, and Snoop Dogg were all played during the process. Once the crackers are released to the public, there will be a link to the full playlist they used.
The limited time only boxes of these Cheez-Its will be sold exclusively on Cheez-It's website starting May 26 at 12 p.m. ET.
