Grimey's is Moving to East Nashville

posted by Robin -

Record Store Day is finally here, which means Grimey's New & Preloved Music is going to be PACKED with music lovers looking for new music! Sadly though, this will be the last Record Store Day they'll celebrate at their current location on 8th Avenue.

It was announced recently that one of Nashville's most famous record shops will be moving to East Nashville to take over what was formerly Point of Mercy Church.

I love the sound of a good vinyl record. There's really nothing like it! Currently, I'm listening to @garyclarkjr but @tompettyofficial “Don’t Do Me Like That” might be the best sounding record ever 👍🏻 What album could you listen to on repeat?

Grimey's is known for having pop up shows from time to time...Paramore even performed there a few years ago! Luckily, the new location will be much larger which means it will be able to accommodate even more fans! The new space will be two floors and can hold almost double the current location.

Plus, they're even building an outdoor area to host larger outdoor events like album release parties and Record Store Day parties!

Sooooo basically we're REALLY excited!!
