Just two months ago, Carter Brown left Indiana State University to surprise his girlfriend, Kaylee Suders. Along the way, Carter's car crossed into a lane of oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
This happened just weeks before Carter and Kaylee were set to attend her senior prom. After he passed away, Kaylee decided she didn't want to go to prom without him, but his dad, Robert, wasn't going to let that happen.
Just one week after his son passed away, Robert decided to ask Kaylee if he could accompany her to prom. Kaylee agreed and the pair got dressed up and ready to celebrate! They took some of your typical prom photos, danced together, and made sure to take photos to remember Carter and make him a part of the experience.
Robert even took Kaylee on a date before prom! He took her to the restaurant that she and Carter had gone to on their first date!
