While I absolutely LOVE Nashville, there's one thing I hate about it - we're so landlocked!!! The lack of any sort of beaches drives me absolutely crazy! So the other night I was thinking about how much I'd love to be on a beach at a tiki bar. So that's when I had this BRILLIANT idea - I should open a tiki bar in Nashville!
After about 10 seconds of having this idea I realized that would be too much work so I checked to see if anyone else had the same idea. That's when I came across C H O P P E R!
Turns out that Andy Mumma (founder of Barista Parlor) and Mike Wolf (bartender at Holland House) had the same brilliant idea I had - open a tiki bar in Music City! Well, it turns out they are much more driven than I am and they're actually gonna do it! Chopper is set to open sometime this summer and I. CAN'T. WAIT.
The menu will feature your usual drinks as well as 30 classic tiki drinks in custom tiki mugs!!
To prepare us for their amazingness, Chopper has launched a series of pop ups across Nashville. You can catch the final pop up on Monday, June 11 @ The Green Hour at Tempered Cafe in East Nashville!
