Nashville High School Band Performs at CMA Awards With Thomas Rhett

On Saturday, Chris Janowiak, marching band director for Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, received a call he never expected.

On the other line was Tiffany Kerns with the Country Music Association Foundation asking if Janowiak's band would be willing to perform alongside Thomas Rhett at the 52nd Annual CMA Awards!

With only four short days to prepare, Janowiak's team had to work quickly to get ready for the performance of a lifetime. The kids were sent home with sheet music and asked to learn the song as quickly as possible. On Monday, the kids spent the entire day rehearsing with Thomas Rhett and tonight, they performed in front of thousands of fans and millions of viewers!

Can you imagine performing for THAT MANY people?

Fans were quick to hit Twitter raving about the performance!
