Therapy Dogs for Parkland Survivors Get Their Own Yearbook Page

Therapy dogs have been attending Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School ever since the tragic shooting that took place on February 14, 2018. The dogs have brought happiness, comfort, and support to students that have survived one of the nation's most tragic events.

As a dedication to the pups, Parkland students have featured all 14 of the dogs in their yearbook, the Arie. The yearbook shared several photos on their Instagram and Twitter pages including one that reads,

"We love that @chief.osceola loves his yearbook! Make sure to find him to sign it."

The idea to include the dogs came from the Yearbook's Faculty Advisor, Sarah Lerner. Sarah is also an English teacher at the school. Back in October, students shared photos and videos on social media of the dogs getting their photos taken.
