Taylor Swift & Dwayne Johnson are among those who made TIME's 100 Most Influential People list, along with Gayle King, Nancy Pelosi, Sandra Oh, and survivors of the Parkland mass shooting.
Each honoree has an accompanying write-up, and Taylor Swift's tribute was penned by none other than Shawn Mendes.
"I've been a Taylor fan for as long as I can remember. But it wasn't until I met and got to know her that I understood how wonderful a person she truly is," Mendes wrote. "The magic of Taylor Swift doesn't come from the lights, dancers or fireworks (although all of that is incredible) but from the electrifying connection that she has with the people who are there to see her."
Swift -- who has teased fans with a countdown ending on April 26th -- is slated to perform at the TIME 100 Gala on April 23rd. Maybe she'll give us a taste of what's to come??
