LeBron James Finally Shares Heartbreaking Goodbye Message to Kobe Bryant

LeBron James has finally spoken out since the tragic death of close friend Kobe Bryant with a heartbreaking post shared to his Instagram last night.

"Man I sitting here trying to write something for this post but every time I try I begin crying about you, niece GiGi and the friendship/bond/brotherhood we had!" James begins.

The last tweet Kobe Bryant authored was sent out the night before he died, congratulating James on surpassing him to become the third-highest point scorer in NBA history. Bryant & James also spoke on the phone that evening -- and again the morning of the helicopter crash, according to reports.

It has also been revealed that the Lakers first learned of Bryant's death during their flight back to Los Angeles on Sunday morning. Camera footage of James crying as he walks the tarmac have since been shared widely.

See his final message to his friend below.
