A third grader from Michigan with a heart of gold is paying it forward in the best possible way. After noticing his friend in the lunch line had to put his lunch back because his account was short, Cayden Taipalus decided to take matters into his own hands.
Cayden went home and told his mom about his friend not having enough money for lunch and asked what he could do to help. Cayden started collecting money and recycling to pay for students with lunch account debts.
With the help of his mom, they set up a fundraising page - Pay It Forward: No Kid Goes Hungry. They have raised almost $7,000 and paid for lunches for over 300 students.
