Documentary "Newtown" About Sandy Hook Shooting Airs Tonight On PBS

Independent Lens is the television's largest showcase of independent documentary film and each week, they bring an original film to PBS. Tonight they will air the documentary "Newtown" at 9:00 PM. 

The documentary has been filmed over the course of almost 3 years and shows personal, never-before-heard testimonies to tell the story of the aftermath of the deadliest mass shooting of school children in American history. 

The filmmaker, Kim Snyder, brings viewers into the lives and homes of those who remain, whose lives have been forever changed by the events of December 14th, 2012.
