Lowe's Changes Military Discount Program

Effective May 2017, Lowe's has made changes to their military discount program to expand and include all honorably discharged veterans.

Instead of keeping the discount for honorably discharged veterans limited to just three days a year - Memorial Day, July 4th and Veterans Day - the national home improvement retailer is extending the 10 percent discount.

Lowe's president and CEO Robert A. Niblock stated, “Enhancing our discount program honors his memory and the commitment servicemen and women and their families make to our country,”

In addition, all active-duty service members, retired military and honorably discharged veterans will be able to receive the 10 percent off on online purchases.  The new Lowe's military discount program will also be extended to spouses and dependent children up to 18.

The major change for all who qualify will be the process to access the discount.  Active-duty service members, retirees and veterans will be required to sign up online for the Lowe's person shopping card.  This is not a credit card and must be done to access the discount.  Sign up for the discount program HERE
