Nashville Man Looking For Someone To Take 112-Year-Old Pipe Organ

The old West Nashville United Methodist Church building got a new owner earlier this year.  The buyer got more than just the property - he is now the owner of a 112-year-old pipe organ.

The owner, Dan Cook, did not want to get rid of the huge instrument, and tried to see if he could make use of the organ in his new space.  However, with thinking he will not get the proper use out of it, he is looking to donate it.

Cook told WKRN, “My number one priority is to have it saved. I’d love to see it saved in Nashville but most of the calls are coming from Florida and Boston and North Carolina."

The pipe organ has been appraised for half a million dollars, but Cook would rather see it go to a good home than sell it.

Cook is looking to find a new owner quickly, so if you, or someone you know, could use a 112-year-old pipe organ in great condition, contact Dan Cook at 615-512-5751.
