She thought that if she ignored the spider it wouldn’t actually be in the car with her. That didn’t seem to work to well.
“I was on my way home from work when I looked up and saw it staring at me,” Merrick told Storyful. "I considered stopping but I didn’t know how I’d get it out of the car, so I thought the best option for me was to keep driving and pretend it wasn’t there for the longest 20 minutes of my life."
She eventually made it home and slowly got out of the car, locked the doors and went inside. She came out the next morning with a can of bug spray but the spider was nowhere to be found. Well, nowhere to be found in plain sight. She might get into an accident once the spider crawls out from under the dashboard.
